Kiera Cass, author of The Selection recently released the cover for the second book of her 'The Selection' series on her blog.

But whenever she sees Aspen standing guard around the palace, and is overcome with memories of the life they planned to share. With the group narrowed down to the Elite, the other girls are even more determined to win Maxon over—and time is running out for America to decide.

Just when America is sure she’s made her choice, a devastating loss makes her question everything again. And while she’s struggling to imagine her future, the violent rebels that are determined to overthrow the monarchy are growing stronger and their plans could destroy her chance at any kind of happy ending

I for one am very excited for this book! Unfortunately, it is not expected to be released until next April *sighs*

Waiting On Wednesday (#2)

Waiting on Wednesday is a meme hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine. This meme highlights some of the books whose releases bloggers are most anticipating this year.

The book whose release I am most excited for this week is...

Expected publication: April 16th 2013
The epic love story of Clea and Sage comes to its thrilling conclusion in the final book in the Elixir series by multitalented star Hilary Duff.

Following the harrowing events of Elixir and Devoted—and the ceremony that almost killed Sage—Clea faces a new reality: With Sage’s soul in Nico’s body, the love of her life looks an awful lot like her best friend’s boyfriend. Can Clea and Sage really be happy under these circumstances?

Clea wants to try to enjoy their new life together, but Sage is acting different—angry—and she struggles to keep her friends from finding out what has happened to him. Something is clearly haunting Sage, and Clea is losing control. Can she trust her friends with the dangerous truth, or will she have to risk losing Sage to madness?

I am REALLY excited for this book because Hilary's last book Devoted ended on an intense cliff hanger so one of my best friends and I are dying to read this book. April cannot come fast enough! Also, I really like the cover for this book. It's really pretty and I'm curious to see how it ties in with the story itself.

If you haven't already, you should definitely check out the first books in the Elixir series. Click on the book covers below to look them up on GoodReads :)
